MyCISO, a cybersecurity software company based in Sydney, has been awarded Startup of the Year at the 2025 Australian Information Security Association (AISA) Awards. The award was announced at a national gala event in Melbourne and honors the company’s “SecurityOS” platform, which is changing how small and medium sized businesses manage digital security risks.

Founded just three years ago by industry expert Dane Meah, MyCISO has grown quickly from a specialist tool into a global platform used by major international companies, including Domino’s Pizza Enterprise.

Moving Beyond Manual Methods
Traditionally, managing cybersecurity for smaller businesses has depended on manual checks that only capture a single moment in time and on disorganized spreadsheets. These methods cannot keep up with constantly changing threats. MyCISO’s SecurityOS replaces this old approach with a centralized, automated system that gives a company a real time view of its security strength and compliance status.

A key factor in winning the award was the launch of MyCISO’s own intelligence engine, called PrecogAI. This engine analyzes a company’s specific security requirements based on standards like NIST or ISO 27001 and automatically creates a prioritized list of actions to improve security.

Global Recognition
The platform’s value was supported by Stephen Bennett, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Domino’s. He explained how MyCISO has become a central part of the global company’s security program, providing clear visibility across different regions and helping to explain risk in simple business terms.

Plans for 2026
With a newly expanded leadership team and fresh funding, MyCISO is preparing for a major global expansion in 2026, focusing on the North American and European markets. The company plans to introduce new product features in the spring, including Advanced Risk Analytics and tools for automated supply chain security.
